Social Events

The Club hosts many different types of events on land throughout the year to capture members’ wide variety of social interests – weekly happy hours, themed dinner nights, post-regatta sailing dinners, movie nights, BBQs, potlucks...the list is endless! Club-hosted events are a great way to try things out (like trying new food or experiences), as well as to get to know other members.

Weekly Events

There are events happening at the Club every week. Enjoy catered meals at the Club offered every Friday night and some Saturday nights. Members and their guests can have some great food and drinks, and meet new people or hang out with longtime friends.

Annual Events

The Club hosts many events commemorating a specific day of the year or a specific occasion. The most popular annual events are:

• Opening Day on Half Moon Bay

• The Commodore's Ball

Social Committee

All events hosted by the Club are planned and managed by the Social Committee. Any member can join the Social Committee (or simply volunteer to help out for a specific event). Each major club-sponsored event has an Event Captain, who manages all aspects of planning and hosting, so that the event goes off without a hitch.
