Half Moon Bay Yacht Club is also a social club! During Club hours, members and their guests can enjoy some good company and a magnificent view in what is practically our own private oasis. Sit out on the deck or in the clubhouse while enjoying what the Club has to offer. There are tables on the deck and three grills that members can use for cooking their own meals with family and guests. There are picnic tables close to the beach, and don't forget, there's the beach, too!

There are many ways that members can simply enjoy the club or take a more active role and get involved.  Here are some of the Club's shore-side offerings:

Volunteerism

Since the Club predominantly runs on volunteerism, it is what the old saying says: what you put in is what you will get out of it.  To see how the members volunteer at the club and the opportunities to volunteer, click on Volunteerism in the navigation menu to the left.

Social Events

The Club hosts many different types of social events on land throughout the year to capture our members’ wide variety of social interests.  Details on the social scene at the Club can be found by clicking on Social Events in the navigation menu to the left.

Watch Officers

When the Club is open and operating, there is always a Watch Officer on-duty, who is a specially trained member volunteer.  Click on Watch Officers in the navigation menu to the left to see the duties of a Watch Officer and how to become one (and the benefits).

Cruise Outs / Cruise Ins

Several times throughout the year, the Club joins forces with other yacht clubs to host events at Clubs where our members can visit as guests (cruise outs) or where we welcome members from other clubs (cruise-ins).  Details can be found by clicking on Cruise  outs/Cruise ins in the navigation menu to the left.

Ship's Store
