This two-day course provides an introduction to sailing the club’s Cal 20 keelboats. Our focus is safety, fun, and learning. Your time will be split between the classroom and on the water. In the classroom, as a small group of 12, we will discuss theory and learn terminology. On the water teams of 3 will be paired with an instructor. You will learn to rig the boats, practice sailing within Princeton Harbor, and return safely to put the toys away. Although we use US Sailing’s teaching materials, this is not a US Sailing accredited program. Nor does this class qualify you to sail the lub’s boats independently. However, this course is a great gateway to further sailing adventures. Limited to 12 participants. | | |
