YOUTH COMMODORE’S CUP – Saturday May 25th – Lasers and Optimists
$10/sailor includes lunch and prizes
Bring sailing gear (gloves, booties, wetsuit, hat, windbreaker… etc. ) and WATER BOTTLE
10am – Registration and Rigging
11am – Launch from beach
11:30am – First Start
12:30pm – Lunch on the water (PBJ, granola bar, fruit – provided)
3pm – No races begin after this time
4pm – Awards

SUMMER YOUTH SAILING CAMP
This year, HMBYC Summer Sailing Camps will begin on June 17th and run through August 9th. There will be no camp the week of July 4th.

Camp each week runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm each day. Week-long sessions are open to novice through experienced sailors and are held with mixed ages and abilities. Curriculum is gauged to participant experience and enthusiasm but will include knots, rigging, boat handling, water safety and sportsmanship. One day each week will be a picnic excursion and each Friday will be regatta day with relay or course races in the afternoon. Ages 8-16 are welcome. No prior experience necessary.
Claire Borkert Sailing Scholarship
Women Sailing is pleased to once again offer the Claire Borkert Sailing Scholarship for Girls during the 2013 Youth Sailing Camp. Application Deadline is Monday May 13th.
